DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR:

is below:
* To support and assist in the provision of full time day care of the
highest quality, in a holistic setting.
* Ensure a good standard of hygiene.
* Organise materials and toys to the benefit of children throughout
the day.
* Support children's developments - emotional, social, physical and
cognitive in carrying out activities.
* Conduct observations & learning stories for assigned
child/children.
* Attend meetings and undergo training as required.
* Perform other reasonable and relevant duties as may be assigned
from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS OF EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR:
* Candidates must be willing to work with infants and young children
* Candidates must hold a minimum of Fetac Level 5 (or recognised
equivalent) in a childcare qualification

role.

AFTER SCHOOL MANAGER
We are looking for After School Manager to join our team of dedicated
childcare professionals in the following location;
TYRRELSTOWN COMMUNITY CENTRE, DUBLIN **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE**

on the website** and will undertake induction and manager training
prior to the new school year beginning.
JOB ROLE:
This is a stand-alone role of full responsibility and accountability
for the management and operation of the after-school business. The
Manager will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of
a high quality after school service. The Manager will ensure that all
standards are met in the delivery of a quality after school care
programme. The Manager will be responsible for the efficient financial
management and operations of the service. This role also requires the
Manager to liaise with the local Childcare Committee, Tusla-The Child
& Family Agency and other relevant organisations.
OVERALL DUTIES:?
This is not a definitive list and the duties will be discussed in
further detail at the interview stage. Generally duties include:
* To ensure the ongoing successful management and financial viability
of the after school business is maintained.
* To ensure that the after school operates at full capacity
* To have a sound knowledge and understanding of various funding
schemes
* To ensure that all practice is child-centred and responsive to the
individual needs of children
* To take day to day responsibility for children & staff
* To ensure high standards of practice care at the centre
* To act as the Designated Child Protection Liaison Person in the
after school
* To build relationships with parents and ensure all colleagues
engage and communicate with parents
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:?
Candidates who do not meet the requirements listed below will not be
considered.
* Candidates?MUST?hold a minimum of Fetac Level 6 (or recognised
equivalent) in a childcare qualification.
* Candidates?MUST?have a minimum of 2 years experience in a
supervisory or managerial role.
* Experience in an after school service is preferred.
